We know plans change! Here’s what to know about refunds for Jersey City Connects events.

Event Tickets

Unless otherwise stated on the event listing, tickets are refundable when a refund request is submitted at least 7 days before the event.

 

Requests made between 48 hours and 7 days before the event are not eligible for a refund but will receive an event credit that may be applied toward a future Jersey City Connects event.

 

Requests made within 48 hours of an event are non-refundable and are not eligible for event credit.

Trips, Workshops & Special Events

Some events, including day trips, workshops, activities with supplies, and events involving third-party vendors, may have different refund deadlines or may be non-refundable. When a different policy applies, it will be noted on the event page. The refund terms listed for that specific event will take priority over this general policy.

Ticket Transfers

If you can no longer attend, your ticket may be transferable to another person depending on the event. Please contact us before transferring your ticket so we can confirm whether a transfer is possible and update the attendee information if needed.

Canceled Events

If Jersey City Connects cancels an event, ticket holders will receive a refund for the ticket price.

If an event needs to be rescheduled, we’ll share the new details with registered attendees along with any available options.

Weather & Other Unexpected Changes

Some of our events take place outdoors and may be affected by weather or circumstances outside our control. If an event can safely continue, our regular refund policy will apply. If we need to cancel or reschedule the event, we’ll contact registered attendees with next steps.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be returned through the original payment method whenever possible. Processing times may vary depending on the ticketing platform or payment provider.

Please note that ticketing or processing fees charged by third-party platforms may not always be refundable.
