Talk With Confidence

Talk with Confidence is a fun and interactive workshop that will enable you to get comfortable with being uncomfortable and start speaking with intention and confidence. There will be improv, examples, and a two-minute talk (by you!) that will help you discover your own voice for everyday encounters at work and play.

John T. Trigonis (he/him) is a Jersey City performance poet and professor, and one half of the dynamic duo behind JC Heights vintage shop/used bookstore, Sure Things. He has been teaching various writing and public speaking courses at colleges and universities over the past 20 years. As a some-time independent filmmaker, Trigonis gave a TED talk on the subject of crowdfunding in 2014, and he has spoken at film festivals (Sundance, SXSW, Tribeca, to name a few) across the globe from 2013 – 2018.
