The Bands

PILE

Pile is a Boston-based rock band led by songwriter Rick Maguire, whose music blends jagged guitars, dynamic percussion, and expansive arrangements to explore labor, art, and living within capitalist reality. Formed in 2007, the band has released nine albums and earned a reputation as prolific, fiercely committed performers in the underground and international touring circuit. Their latest record, Sunshine and Balance Beams, presents a Sisyphean parable about fulfillment and survival, pairing loud-quiet intensity with panoramic production, strings, and emotional weight.

OVLOV

Ovlov bury melodic hooks under massive, blown-out guitars, balancing slacker looseness with serious weight. Live, their songs stretch and swell into dense walls of fuzz that hit harder than the recordings.

WASHER

Washer deliver sharp, forward-moving indie rock built on driving rhythms and immediate hooks. Their sets lock in fast and stay relentless, trading polish for urgency and momentum.

RAT MOTEL

Rat Motel operate in darker, noisier territory, using repetition, texture, and low-end pressure to build slow-burning tension. Their live shows are immersive and heavy, pulling the room into a grinding, hypnotic groove.
