Jersey City PhotoWalk – Hosted by Close Up Pictures Collective

Close Up Pictures Collective is a creative community aiming to bring photography lovers together. Founded by award-winning photojournalist and portrait photographer Ben Bülent Doruk (@benbulentdoruk), the group is all about exploring visual storytelling, sharing knowledge, and connecting through photography.

This photowalk is open to everyone – whether you’re just getting started or have been shooting for years. We’ll wander through Jersey City’s vibrant streets, talk about photography, and most importantly, build new friendships along the way.

• One-on-one help for anyone who wants to improve their skills

🗺️ Our Route:

We’ll start the day at Gussy’s Cafe on Newark Avenue. From there, we’ll make our way through: Newark Avenue Plaza → Grove Street PATH → City Hall → Van Vorst Park → Historic Downtown Streets → Exchange Place → Hudson Waterfront Walkway, and finally wrap up at Sam a.m. Coffee for a well-earned break and some great conversation.

Bring your camera, phone, or whatever you like to shoot with. Just come ready to explore with your eyes and your heart.
