Creative Writing Class: Why Don’t You Kiss Me On The Mouth

This is a three-week creative writing workshop on love poems, heartbreak poems, break-up poems, yearning, desire-riddled stares, and all other complicated affairs of the heart. Each week, we will read and analyze select writers’ poetic expressions of the affairs of their heart. Then we will compose our own poems through fun prompts and read them (lovingly) to each other.

In the last class, we will also fold origami “valentines” to give to ourselves or a beloved.

It’s the pink month of February, so tear out a valentine from your paper heart and let’s write a poem. <3

This workshop is for adults (18+). ALL writing levels welcome!
