Brunch, Birds and Better Design with Jeffrey Train

In honor of the Museum’s Upper Gallery Exhibit “Terns on Parade: The Art and Story of Hoboken’s Honorary Bird,” join birder and exhibit curator Jeffrey Train for Brunch, Birds and Better Design!
Brunch, Birds & Better Design
April 11th at 10am
Starting Point is at Alessio’s Terrace, 1201 Madison Street
Free Admission
Join us for Brunch, Birds & Better Design as we gather at Alessio’s in the Northwest Resiliency Park. Support the amazing local restaurant and protector of Hoboken’s birds: Alessio’s. Treat yourself to their offerings while Mr. Train of Our Tern briefly shares the inspiring story behind the recent collaboration between local teen Otys Train and Alessio’s to install bird-safe, feather friendly markers designed to help protect the park’s avian visitors.
After a quick bite, we’ll head out together to explore the park and search for early spring migrants, learning how thoughtful design can make a real difference for urban wildlife. Bring your binoculars, your curiosity, and your love of nature: this is a morning where great food meets great ideas, all in support of safer skies for Hoboken’s birds.
This bird walk is part of a series of events connected to the Museum’s Upper Gallery exhibition: Terns on Parade: The Art and Story of Hoboken’s Honorary Bird.
