Art with Liz: Lecture and Workshop

Join Art with Liz every week at the Library to learn about classic and contemporary artists, followed by a free art workshop. In-person and live on Zoom & YouTube!

In this class we will look at the art of John Trumbull. John Trumbull was an
American painter and military officer best known for his historical paintings of the American
Revolutionary War, of which he was a veteran. He has been called the “Painter of the
Revolution”. Students will be invited to either copy one of his portraits of famous American
heroes or one of his scenes of American history All are welcome!

This program will be held both in person and live on Zoom and YouTube.

Registration is required whether you are attending in person or online. Registration closes 15 minutes before each class. You will receive the Zoom link and password 15 minutes before the class begins.
