Friday, August 30

Cycling. Gear up for a sunset cycling ride with the Hoboken Cycling Club meeting at 8 p.m.

Martial Arts. Attend an aikido class, a non-competitive Japanese martial art that aims to resolve conflict between attacker and defender.

Movie Night. Exchange Place Alliance invites you to a free movie - this week's is Lilo and Stitch! 

Run. Join the Jersey City Runners for a run up The Heights or down at the Exchange Place. A great way to remain active and meet fellow running enthusiasts!

Scavenger Hunt. Kick off your weekend with a fun scavenger hunt hosted by Alley Kat Adventures in Hoboken. It's a great way to explore the city and engage in friendly competition.

Wellness. Experience a refreshing Friday night with Urban Souls Yoga X Full Circle — enjoy a full-body recovery stretch, breathwork, and sound bath in a community-centered, healthy social environment!

Brass Band. For nearly four decades, the Grammy-winning Rebirth Brass Band has captivated audiences with their electrifying live performances and unique blend of New Orleans brass band tradition, jazz, funk, and soul.

Drum. Issyra Gallery has a drumming workshop and live West African music.

Volunteer. Head to Harimus Cemetery for their Saturday volunteer clean-ups, which start at 9:00 a.m. and run until 2 p.m. Sadly neglected and abandoned in early 2008, the Jersey City & Harsimus Cemetery is now being saved and preserved by volunteers. Please message the account before attending to confirm details!

Volunteer. Volunteer at Riverview-Fisk Park from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Opportunities include picking up trash, pulling out weeds, and planting seeds—different activities to help keep the park beautiful!
